Setting the Scene
Once Upon A Time, (in 1907 to be exact) young Prince Hal and his cousin, Freddie, happily play dragons and heroes. When their nanny interrupts them to tell a story about the lost kingdom of Splendora and a beautiful princess – a story young Hal will remember for the rest of his life.
Splendora, 500 years earlier is, a happy town, ready to welcome a royal baby. The Queen Mother distributes christening invitations to the townsfolk.
But not everyone has been invited! When Nefaeria, the wicked fairy, finds out that she has been excluded from the royal celebration, she plots a terrible revenge. In the presence of the nobles and the townsfolk, Nefaeria curses the baby princess, but all is not lost because one good fairy can change the curse.
The second act opens in 1925. Prince Hal, now a young man, is still haunted by the story of the princess and vows to find her one-day. The princess trapped in time, waits for the kiss that will awaken her from her slumber.
Can the good fairies bring together the princess and her prince, born 500 years apart? Will Nefaeria’s curse kill the princess?
