2007’s Jack and Beanstalk was Fidelma’s first outing with Phoenix Players but her love for performing started much before then. She began with Live Culture, a young people’s music theatre company set up by English National Opera, where she took part in performances across London. More recently she has been a member of Montage Music Theatre Company participating in shows on Broadway (Catford’s Theatre land not New York !) and community events. With Phoenix she has shone in roles in various shows including the Prime Minister in ‘Jack and The Beanstalk’, the Narrator in ‘Oh What A Lovely War’ and one half of hapless villainous duo Peas & Pies in ‘Grand Old Duke of York’. She is the shy, retiring type in the group though and would normally be too modest to tell you all this herself, so don’t say we said a word…
