Phoenix Players

Nothing like being in at the deep end! It’s Gavin’s first show with the group is 2010's "Half A Sixpence" and he’s paying the lead, Arthur Kipps. And it’s not any normal lead either; Kipps is in just about every scene and song so poor Gavin has had no rest.  How is he going to make the change when the panto comes round and he has to be content with playing one of the rats in the Pied Piper of Hamlyn? In the meantime we’re glad his cricketing background will serve him in good stead for this role and do watch out for a few Springsteen flourishes as Gavin pays homage to his idol.
