Marina joined the Phoenix Players in June 2008 just in time to feature as every French (and vaguely French) character in that year’s production of ‘Oh What A Lovely War’. Prior to this, Marina shone as Titania, Queen of the Fairies in her school’s production of A Midsummer Night’s Dream, as Rita in Billy Liar, a Madonna-impersonator and both Sandy and Danny in Grease (we take her word for it and think it’s best not to ask!).
By day she works as a magazine editor and writer where, she tells us, she once really annoyed Kylie Minogue (again, we know better than to ask!). She has written three books for teenagers and frequently threatens to write ‘a grown-up one’. Mum of two Marina only recently attempted body-boarding for the first time and can’t quite believe what she’s been missing.
