Phoenix Players

Roy is a late starter to AmDram but a welcome addition to our group. He first joined us for 2008′s “Oh What A Lovely War” and went on to join us in 2009′s “How To Succeed…” Roy doesn’t always like learning dance step routines which may date back to the Scottish dancing lessons he had as a child.  He once got his thrills in motorcycle racing and been round Brands Hatch on 400cc Honda.  Interests have also included being a keen tennis player, skiing and training for sub-aqua diving.  However, the excitement of being on stage adds a new scariness to his previous thrill seeking.  Roy’s current interests also includes singing where he supports a fellow Bromley am-dramer’s karaoke events
