Sarah always dreamed of being a musical theatre star until her mum told her at the age of 14 that she couldn’t sing and should concentrate on passing her GSCEs… which is why she is now a financial services lawyer and not embarrassing herself on the X-Factor. However, not to be put off forever, Sarah found the Phoenix Players and we can now say (with great respect to Mrs O’Malley) that Sarah’s Mum might have been a little too harsh with her 14 year old daughter and this girl can indeed sing!
