Curtains

Boston, 1959. The cast of Robbin’ Hood takes their bows on opening night. Just as the curtain falls, so does Jessica Cranshaw, the profoundly untalented leading lady of the production. Enter Lieutenant Frank Cioffi, a fast-talking cop with a love for musical theatre. But can he solve the mystery and catch a killer, all while indulging in his love of the stage?

Curtains is a fabulous show filled with homages to both murder mysteries and musical theatre classics. Phoenix was delighted to welcome back to the director chair our highly experienced and much loved former chairperson Jo Walker, with Izz Ions lending their considerable talents as assistant director. Musical directors Iona Duncan and Eve Millward led us through the harmonies, and we had a brilliant team of choreographers to develop the show's vibrant dances!
