Phoenix @ Dulwich Festival Teddy Bear's Picnic
As part of DULWICH FESTIVAL this year, we have been invited to perform at the Dulwich Park Giant Teddy Bears’ Picnic on the afternoon of Sunday 10th May! 🧸🌸
We are planning to do a few songs and dances from Jack and the Beamstalk to the festival goers! The event is always super well attended and the adults and kids would love to see us! 🥰
It will be great fun to hang out and perform some of our favourite numbers in a relaxing setting for our community, to showcase how brilliant everyone is and to get more people in the community to know us, join us and come to our shows! 🌟
There will be actual giant teddy bears and also bands, parade, food/drinks/ice cream stalls and fairground. And there might even be a dog show! 🍦🐩
If you’d like to get involved and you’re in the Beamstalk cast, drop a message to Nicole.
If you’re not in the cast but you’d like to help out, email phoenixplayersamdram@gmail.com
If you’re keen to spectate, we’ll see you there! More details on the event here: dulwichparkfriends.org.uk/events
We will be having a picnic from 3pm before our performance at 4pm! You can find us at the display area (see purple square in map)!
The Cosmic Lounge: Fundraiser
You are invited to The Cosmic Lounge - an open mic fundraiser for Jack and the Beamstalk!
Hop aboard the Glittership Enterprise (Emmanuel Church Hall - we didn't have the budget for a real spaceship) and sing your favourite tunes while floating above Earth's atmosphere (your feet will be firmly planted on the ground because, again, we didn't have the budget for a real spaceship)!
£5 Tickets
£3 Concession
(This event was originally scheduled in February but has been moved to March)
